An Impressive Speech

From last July - American Trade Union leader Richard Trumka makes the most memorable speech I've heard in a long time, as he attacks racism against Barack Obama.

It was no surprise to me when a poll (USA Today, maybe?) came out in the last two weeks indicating that perhaps 20% of the white electorate harbored ill feelings towards black people. If Obama loses, race may well have been a factor, not the only one, but a factor.

I agree that race is definitely a factor but his stance on partial birth abortion, which is one of the most horrific and obscene practices ever invented by the human race, is obviously another major factor, not that I believe in single issue politics myself.
