I see the Weather Channel gives mosquito forecasts in the US....

Yes, if global temperatures do continue to rise, there are many implications for human health, animal health and plant health.

How accurate are the forecasts? And do you look out for them every day in th summer?

If the loons in the Environment Agency go on dismantling the sea walls there will be mosquitos in Essex. Malaria, known as the ague was endemic in the Essex marshlands until they were drained and reclaimed. With current global warming and the spread of watery conditions it's party time for mosquitos.
