It's with Congressman Lynn A. Westmoreland
Colbert: You have not introduced a single piece of legislation since you entered Congress.
Westmoreland: That's correct.
Colbert: This has been called a do nothing Congress. Is it safe to say you're the do nothingest?
Westmoreland: I, I, ..Well there's one other do nothiner. I don't know who that is, but they're a Democrat.
Crooks and Liars has the video (WMP)

Perhaps he agrees with me that the best response to the cry of "Something must be done!" is not always "Legislate".
Actually, I have a lot of sympathy for that viewpoint.
But for thos who can't access the video, what he wants to legislate for is to have the 10 Commandments displayed in the Senate and House of Representatives .... and that's where he gets stuck in the interview, because he doesn't know them...
Oh I see :-)
He deserved what ever embarrassment he felt then.
We get the government we want don't we?
He learned well at the feet of his betters, particularly George Bush, who on his best day would not get 4 out of 10 correct. But unfortunately the same could be said for most Christians of either political stripe who find the old testament to be more useful as a paperweight.
