Mainly for Trevor...

It's been a great day for us in Rochford.

After a few years of feeling like hunted, small, endangered , furry mammals, we're finally starting to hit back. We easily defended two seats (getting 73- 74 percent of the vote), and then wonderfully gained an extra seat, defeating the Tories by just 30 votes.(This was in Sweyne Park in the west of Rayleigh) This was no fluke - a years preparation, an excellent candidate, and a lot of hard work...

We are now a group of five - nothing much to boast about. But the endangered furry animals are feeling more confident, and the Tories are starting to look like dinosaurs - and you know who won that contest.

Congratulations to you and your team Chris. Did any of the Green candidates come close to beating Tories?

Hi Trevor, no it was a poor showing by the Greens.

Lost 659-361 in Ashingdon and Canewdon (29.37 percent turnout)

4th in Lodge with just 56 votes

4th in Hullbridge with 155 votes

Thanks Chris. Looks like a lot of folk in Ashingdon and Canewdon have given up voting, I seem to remember turnouts around 50% when I stood.

They're probably wishing you'd return so they can vote for you Trevor!

And well done, Chris - guess that means your group isn't the Cult of Skaro anymore...

Yes indeed Nick - we are no longer the Cult of Skaro....

As for Trevor, I think we should start a rumour that he is planning to move south again to stand at the next Ashingdon and Canewdon election, with a clan of battle-hardened Highland Canvassers marching behind him...
