In *our* party? Surely not? A broad church perhaps, but liberalism can only exist in the bottom half of the grid. Anyone as far "north" as that would, I hope, be incredibly uncomfortable in the Lib Dems.
Gosh your possition is very close to mine! I excused myself for looking left-winged by saying that I was simply like that fundadmentally, in my natural gut feeling for the working class and against corporations and the rich. But that realistically I understand the need of a balance, to try and make capitalism work for all of us. Which is what true Liberal Economics is.
Also remember the good thing is your not far from Nelson Mandela and the Dalai Lama, your also opposite to Gordon Brown. Also note Stalin is far left and far authoritarian, so the stalin comment doesn't work
I've not done this one for a while, but I remember when I did I came out 8 point something on left and libertarian - further in both directions than anyone else I knew.
I'll have to try it again sometime soon and see if I've changed
I write this blog in a private capacity , but just in case I mention any elections here is a Legal Statement for the purposes of complying with electoral law:
This website is published and promoted by Ron Oatham, 8 Brixham Close , Rayleigh Essex

Huh! You Stalinist!
My score is Economic Left/Right: 4.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -8.56
Now that's liberal!
:)
What's worrying me is that there's probably somewhere out there who is plus 8.56 ......

No, I didn't mean in the Lib Dems! Just out there somewhere!
